Who we are

Sellcast is an AI demand-planning platform for Shopify brands, operated by Alloyhold LLC, 1309 Coffeen Ave, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA, which is the data controller. For any question in this policy, contact us at support@sellcast.ai.

What we collect

We collect only what the service needs, from three sources:

• On this website. If you request early access, a demo, or the migration checklist, we collect the email address you give us plus any optional store URL, company name, or message you choose to share. This site sets no advertising trackers and loads no third-party analytics scripts.
• In your account. Your name, work email, company, and the settings and approvals you make in the app. Billing is handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
• From platforms you connect. When you authorize a connection, we read the operational data planning needs: catalogue, inventory levels, orders, sales history, and discounts. Sources include Shopify, the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API), Brightpearl, and CSV imports you upload.

Amazon Selling Partner data

When you connect an Amazon seller account, Sellcast accesses aggregate seller data only — product listings, inventory, order counts, and sales history used to build your forecast. We do not request or store Amazon buyer personally identifiable information (names, shipping addresses, or contact details), and we do not request restricted-PII roles. Amazon Information is used solely to provide the demand-planning service to the seller who authorized it; it is never shared with, sold to, or disclosed to any third party, never used for advertising, and never used to train shared or third-party models. Our handling follows Amazon’s Acceptable Use Policy and Data Protection Policy — detailed in our Data Protection & Security statement.

How we use it

To operate the service you asked for: generate and explain demand forecasts, draft purchase and promotion plans for your approval, provide support, secure the service, and meet legal obligations. For website enquiries, we use your details to reply, schedule the demo, send the checklist, or notify you when access opens. We may send occasional product updates; every email includes a way to opt out.

What we never do

We never sell your data. We never use it to train shared or third-party models. We never build advertising profiles. We do not blend one brand’s data with another’s.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers (subprocessors) strictly needed to run Sellcast, each bound by contract to protect it and use it only on our instructions:

Amazon Information is stored only within Sellcast’s own hosting infrastructure and is not shared with, sold to, or disclosed to any third party — the email, payment, and error-monitoring providers above never receive it. We may disclose data where required by law. We do not otherwise share your data with third parties.

How long we keep it

We retain connected-platform data (including Amazon Information) for as long as your account is active and you need the service. If you disconnect a platform or close your account, we delete the associated data within 90 days, except where a longer period is required by law. Website enquiry details are kept only as long as needed to follow up. You can request deletion at any time.

Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and CCPA), you can ask to access, correct, export, or delete the data we hold about you, and object to or restrict certain processing. Email support@sellcast.ai and we’ll honor the request promptly. The app also offers one-click export of your data at any time.

International transfers

We may process data in [[ CONFIRM: processing region(s), e.g. “the United States” ]]. Where data is transferred across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Children

Sellcast is a business tool and is not directed to anyone under 16.

Changes

We’ll update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. Material changes affecting how we handle your data will be communicated in-app or by email.
