Will Sellcast work for my store?

Sellcast is made for Shopify brands with real SKU depth. If you're juggling reorders, promos, and overstock across more than a handful of products, it fits. Forecast quality improves with sales history; six months or more is ideal.

How long does setup take?

Connecting Shopify takes minutes. Sellcast then backfills your sales and inventory history and builds your first forecasts. You review your first plan rather than configure one.

Where does the data come from, and who sees it?

Your Shopify store (and optionally Brightpearl or CSV imports). Your data is never sold and never used to train shared models. See the privacy policy for specifics.

How do the forecasts actually work?

Each forecast decomposes into base rate, trend, seasonality, and event lifts, with excluded anomalies listed. You can open any number and see exactly how it was built, and override it.

Do you support multiple locations and warehouses?

Yes. Locations, transfers, movements, and a network view are part of the supply loop, and the buying table respects per-location stock.

Can I migrate from Stocky or spreadsheets?

Yes. There's a guided Stocky migration wizard, and CSV import covers suppliers, per-SKU costs, lead times, open POs, and your inventory baseline. Per Shopify's announcement, Stocky stops working August 31, 2026.

What does the “agent” actually do?

It drafts purchase orders inside authority limits you set, and recommends the transfers, promos, and markdowns to review — each with citations to the data behind it. Every action waits in your inbox for your approval; nothing executes on its own.
